Day 1 SOFIA
Arrival in Sofia. Transfer from the Airport. Accommodation. Short sightseeing tour:National Theatre, Alexander Nevsky Memorial Cathedral, Russian Church St. Nikola, St. Sofia Church (6th century), St. George Rotunda. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 2 SOFIA - RILA MONASTERY - MELNIK
Breakfast. Departure to Rila Monastery (UNESCO list of world heritage, the most visited tourist site in Bulgaria). Guided tour in the monastery. Lunch. Proceed to the little town of Melnik. Visit the picturesque Rozen Monastery. Dinner in tavern in Melnik. Overnight.

Day 3 MELNIK - BANSKO
Breakfast. Town of Bansko. Accommodation. Dinner in national style tavern. Overnight.

Day 4 BANSKO - KOVATCHEVITZA - TRIGRAD
Breakfast. Departure to the Rodopi Mountains. Visit the picturesque village of Kovachevitza. Lunch en route. Proceed to the village of Trigrad. Accommo-dation in private houses. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 5 TRIGRAD - TRIGRAD GORGE - SHIROKA LUKA
Breakfast. Visit the canyon of Trigradska river, which had washed away the famous Trigrad Gorge, several km. Long. Before entering it, the river falls into the Devils Throat - a fantastic cave where within the 700 m. of displacement forms. Close to this cave, near by the village of Yagodina is situated the Yagodinska cave, famous with its unique shapes - cave pearls and stony roses. Visit the two caves. Lunch in route. Departure to little museum village of Shiroka Luka. Accommodation in private houses in original Rodope architectural style. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 6 SHIROKA LUKA - PLOVDIV
Breakfast. Departure to Plovdiv. En route visit of Bachkovo Monastery, the second largest in Bulgaria. Continue to village of Brestovitza for wines tasting. Proceed to Plovdiv. Lunch at a national style restaurant in the Old Plovdiv. Sightseeing tour in the town - typical houses, the Roman Amphiteatre, the Main street. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 7 PLOVDIV - KOPRIVSHTITSA - SOFIA
Breakfast. Departure to the little town of Koprivshtitza for some sightseeing in the town full of well-preserved 19th century National Revival houses. Have lunch there. Proceed to Sofia. Accommodation in the hotel. Dinner with folk performance. Overnight.

Day 8 SOFIA
Breakfast. Transfer to the Airport. Departureл
