Modern tourist village - Kiten is a small and beautiful town, situated 55 km south of Bourgas and only 5 kilometers sought from Primorsko and MMC resorts. It was founded in 1931 by fugitives from Greece and immigrants from the surrounding villages.

After 1970, Kiten has been developing as an attractive centre for many tourists.

Nowadays Kiten is a prosperous modern tourist village with a number of private lodgings, cozy hotels, restaurants, snack-bars, discos, amusement park, water slides and playgrounds. The north beach, called Atliman with calm and clean sea is covered with fine golden sand and is protected from storms. The south beach is bigger and abuts the Kiten River, which is rich in fish.

The season begin in May and ends in October.
