The village of Sinemorets lies on a peninsula, south of the mouth of the Veleka River. It is situated 20 km to the south of Tzarevo and 6 km of Ahtopol. The first record of a settlemant place dates back to 1498. Then it was bigger and according to the legends, pirates used to attack it.
During an underwater expedition, ceramics dating from 6th - 5th century BC were discovered not far from the coast. Sinemorets is a place, tucked away in the virgin nature. The village is a combination of clean beaches, old oak forests, and a river, rich in fish. The sand is coarse and aureate in color and the water is crystal clear. The most refined beach is called Butamyata. In Sinemorets is not crowded, the hotels are small and well - equipped. The biggest hotel, called "Bella Vista Beach Club", was built in 2004. In the village, there are no night clubs and bars; however, there are several restaurants, offering different types of cuisine. The nature, Veleka River, rocks and beaches of Sinemorets make it very attractive for tourists.
